Go Big. Go Bold. GoVivid.

DirectMe™, developed by GoVivid Co. is helping the blind and visually impaired to live the life of their dreams.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) states that there are more than 285 million people worldwide who are blind and visually impaired. There are almost 30 million people who are blind in the US alone with an additional 7 million more being diagnosed each year.

The World Health Organization (WHO) Reports that every 5 minutes a person goes blind and every 1 minute of that number the person is a child.

Now that you know the actual statistics of how many people are blind and visually impaired you can better understand the critical need for the autonomous orientation and mobility assistive technology that the DirectMe Responsive Route Guidance and Identification System provides.

No more frustration, just answers.

DirectMe is a Responsive Route Guidance and Identification System. This product by GoVivid Co. is an integration of advanced technologies that facilitate autonomous navigation, both indoors and outdoors, for people who are blind and visually impaired.  The technical innovation is similar to that of the responsive self-driving automobile.

In the world that we live in, if you walk outside, and you have no vision or very low vision and you want to traverse down any street, any intersection, go into any mall or any public space.  There are no accommodations except braille signage.  That's the only accommodation that has been made for people who are blind or who have low vision. What GoVivid offers is navigation to go shopping, to be independent, to go to the airports, to travel to places of leisure, all on par with their sighted peers. Instead of being secluded and isolated, they can now be out in public places living, going to concerts, enjoying life.  Life isn't about surviving, it's about living.
