My name is Jennifer Hendrix. I am the Founder/CEO of GoVivid Co. My professional background is in Surgical Interventions. Working in the Operating Room has been my way of fulfilling my lifelong passion of helping people and changing their lives for the better.
When I was young my grandmother lost her sight due to a genetic disease. Sadly, she was overcome with debilitating anxiety and depression before she lost the will to live another day in darkness.
It wasn’t until both of my daughters were diagnosed with the same genetic disease, with the potential to lose their vision, that I started on the journey to invent a safe, responsive, reliable, adaptable, portable and autonomous solution to address the severe limitations faced by people who are blind and have low vision.
Years of research and spectacular advancements in technology led to the formation of GoVivid Co. It is my purpose and mission at GoVivid to support a profound and powerful transformation in the lives of people who are blind and visually impaired. I want them to gain the independence and freedom to safely and actively pursue their futures and to reach a level of confidence and autonomy beyond their imagination.
I want them to go places they have never dreamed possible and to exceed any and all expectations placed before them. I want them to LIVE BIG!
